电压测量法是更常用的检修方法之一，就是通过测怀疑点电压是否正常来判断故障部位和故障原因。比如在检修电机不转、而仪表盘亮故障时，可通过测控制器的供电电压和输出电压判断故開部位:再比如检修电机转速不正常故障时，可通过测调速转把输出的控制电压来判断它是否正常。

电阻测量法是更主要的检修方法之。该方法就是通过测怀疑的线路、 器件的阻值是否正常，来判断故障部位和故障原因。比如在检修电机运转不正常故障时，可通过测电机3个绕组的阻值，判断它是否匝间短路或断路，而检修无刷电机时，测它的3条传感信号输出线对地和5V供电之间的阻值时，可判断霍尔元件是否损坏:再比如在整车无电故障时，还可测量保险管、电源锁和供电线路是否断路，控制器是否短路等。

在检测线路、电源锁等器件是否断路时，可采用万用表“蜂鸣”档(有的数字万用表该功能附加在“二极管”档上)进行测量，若万用表发出鸣叫声，说明线路正常:若没有鸣叫声，说明线路已断:若有时鸣叫有时无声，说明线路接触不良。
